Società Agricola Agro Nocciole Srl was founded in 2019 by the IDeA Agro team to aquire arable land and convert it into a hazelnut grove. Italy is the second largest producer by volume and the first by quality of hazelnuts in the world. Agro Nocciole currently owns approximately 280 hectares of land around Alessandria, with more than 200,000 hazelnut trees. Through “Progetto Nocciola Italia” Ferrero, the world-famous company is committed to buy all the raw material (hazelnuts) produced by Agro Nocciole provided they comply with some specific standards.
