Ingino Group produces and distributes fresh and frozen chestnuts as well as fronzen fruits. The Group was founded in the 1950s in Montoro Inferiore (Avellino, Campania). It expanded quickly at the beginning of the century, primarily due to the acquisition of competitors. Over the years, the Group has established its leadership in the market of fresh chestnuts, serving Italian and European markets, and US and Canadian clients - due to a local commercial platforms - and in the frozen fruit market. Ingino currently processes more than 25,000 tons of nuts (60% of which are chestnuts) in a 67,000 sq m warehouse located in Atripalda (AV), making it one of the largest warehouses in Europe in the industry.
