Founded in 1978 in Mongrassano (Cosenza, Calabria), Gias Group is a vegetables-based frozen food producer. The company is managed by Gloria Tenuta, the founder’s daughter, and company’s representative since 2005. She is a very well-known figure both at the regional level as well as in the industry, to the point where she was appointed “Cavaliere del Lavoro” in 2018. Gias’ main raw materials and semi-finished products supplier is the farming co-op COTRAPA, which groups approximately 60 partners in Puglia, Calabria and Basilicata and with which Gias has a long-term sectoral contract.
