Founded in 1978 in Nove, nearby Vicenza, Stalam is a leading company in the design, development and production of Radio Frequency equipment (“RF”) for the drying and thermal processing of textile fibres, yarns and technical textiles. Since 2002 the company has diversified its activity by entering the food market, developing RF equipment for the quick defrosting of frozen fish, pasteurisation and sterilisation of liquid and semi-liquid food products, and for the sanitisazion of dry food commodities. Stalam’s product portfolio includes: - RF equipment for the textile industry - RF equipment for the food industry - RF equipment for treatment of technical textiles In 2005 Stalam acquired a majority stake of its Chinese competitor Shanghai Deyi, and established a production facility in Shanghai dedicated to the production of standard machines for the textile industry. The capabilities of Stalam include the possibility of developing and manufacturing customized solutions that satisfy stringent customer requiriments. Therefore it allow the company to be well-positioned for expanding into new markets and exploiting the sector growth prospects. Stalam has a market share of over 50% in the textile industry, and it’s the company offering the broadest range of RF equipment in the world for the food industry. It generates over the 90% of its turnover abroad indeed.
